Calling it an explosive show full of classic hits, rock history deep dive sessions, and some of the most bizarre at-the-bar kind of behind-the-scenes stories, Alice Cooper has been on everybody’s lips lately. Cooper himself gave teasers of sorts for the online special; from deep cuts of Steely Dan and Eric Clapton to that crazy surrealistic story of the time he jammed with the Muppets. Yes, with The Muppets !!

In black and white, the promo pic sees Cooper at full theater mode, Shirley-style-shaggy shirt, vest, and all, wildly gesticulating with his hands. The backside is a blurred-out crowd and their sheer aura stands at the forefront to perfectly set the very mood of his announcement.
Cooper’s post was a true wave of nostalgia for rock fever. He casually drops names such as Steely Dan, Elton John, Stevie Nicks, and Billy Joel, luring them into a 1974 trip with Cooper’s Countdown. More excitingly, Tales From the Attic will also reveal the secrets behind Cooper playing the surrealistic realm with The Muppets, and it will definitely deep-dive into The Doors’ cryptic tune “The W.A.S.P.,” because Jim Morrison’s lyric madness must be unpacked by none other than Alice Cooper himself.
Fans chimed in, but way off the topic. One user maintained with authority that this was indeed Alice Cooper’s only official account, finally putting to rest all claim from impostors. Another one veered off in a different direction and just said, “On your knees and pray to Jesus,” because the internet is, well, a strange place.
He’s been rocking the curtain for decades with his mixture of horror theatrics and purist approach to rock, so this promising announcement proves he has not been resting on his laurels. Whether it’s Cooper ulteriorly breaking down the classic rock tunes or reliving jam sessions with some puppets, the one thing the world knows is that Alice Cooper’s power to incite a crowd remains, even if that crowd has to be conjured over the airwaves. And should you miss this somehow? Probably, he might just go knocking at your door to collect what rightfully belongs to him.
It is going to be a mess of chaotic nostalgia, the kind one would expect from the father who took shock rock to equal footing with the arts. This latest take by Alice Cooper is fast becoming a vividly painted brush to enliven his infamy, whether it’s for the music, the stories, or just the free spirit that envelopes the whole initiative.

Do not miss it, or at least one nightmare would come for you. At least Cooper is the biggest player on the radio heist!
