-Zaslav has made it known in the past that he believed HBO Max was worth more and today he is making it official by immediately raising the price of HBO Max.
-Currently the Basic with Ads plan is $9.99/month or $99.99/year;
the Standard (ad-free) plan is $16.99/month or $169.99/year;
Premium (ad-free with 4K) plan is $20.99/month or $209.99/year
-The new price as of today will be:
HBO Max Basic With Ads $1/month increase, now $10.99 or +$10/year increase, now $109.99/year
HBO Max Standard +$1.50/month increase, now $18.49 or +$15/year increase, now $184.99/year
HBO Max Premium +$2/month increase, $22.99 or +$20/year increase, now $229.99/year
-When HBO Max first launched it was $14.99 for no commercials, $9.99 with commercials….with quality of image not being impacted by the tier you had. Now if you want the BEST image quality, you have to pay for the Premium model.
