Georgina Chapman is reportedly facing foreclosure on her New York City apartment after falling behind on mortgage payments.
According to legal documents obtained by People, the 49-year-old Marchesa co-founder took out a $2.5 million loan with CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC in January 2022. The loan carried monthly payments of approximately $9,114.58 and was scheduled to run through February 2052.

The foreclosure filing, dated October 15, 2025, states Georgina defaulted by failing to pay portions of principal, interest, taxes, insurance and other fees. As a result, the lender is seeking the remaining loan balance along with accrued interest and late charges.
The notice also included a warning: “You are in danger of losing your home.”
Earlier this year, she was separately sued by her building’s board for $7,898.67 in unpaid dues.
Her brother, Edward Chapman—who helped mortgage the property and serves as CEO of Marchesa—was also named in the foreclosure complaint.
Georgina recently attended the film premiere of Is This Thing On? with her partner Adrien Brody. See the pics here.
