Carli Bybel and Brett Caprioni are back together!

Bybel shared the big news in a video celebrating her 35th birthday, posted to her TikTok account on Oct. 17. The video begins with Carli, 35, walking toward a cake adorned with 25 birthday candles. The 2 candle is replaced with a “3” by a mysterious male hand just before Brett, 37, walks into view and hugs Carli after presenting her with a bouquet of roses.

“Some love stories don’t end.. they pause, they grow, they heal & they return stronger,” Carli wrote in the video’s caption. “35 trips around the sun, and mine just began again🥹🎂🌹 Grateful for growth, for love, and for all the goodness that’s still ahead. ✨ Cheers to 35 🥂.”

In the comments, Brett gushed about their reunion. “It was always you!!! You deserve everything good this world has to offer and I’m going to do everything in my power to give you it,” he wrote. “Just so damn grateful for the opportunity to love you!!! Cheers to us and happiest of birthdays to you ❤.”

The couple, who have known each other since kindergarten, began dating in 2013, when Carli was a YouTube beauty content creator and Brett was a fitness creator, per Life & Style. They later split amicably in 2017, and Carli made the announcement in a YouTube video.

“We are broken up. I know, I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I know you guys are probably upset, but think about how I feel. It wasn’t something that was fun or ever planned or what I thought would ever happen, but it is the reality. I respect him so much as a person, and I know we’ll remain friends — hopefully forever — because we have been through so much together,” she said in the YouTube video posted in 2017.

Brett joined Vanderpump Rules as Lisa Vanderpump’s personal trainer and a waiter at her West Hollywood restaurant SUR in season 8. In 2020, he was later fired from the show after a series of offensive social media posts resurfaced. He later apologized for his actions.

“It wasn’t okay then, it’s not okay now,” Brett said during a reunion special for the Bravo series. “It’s something I regret deeply, and it was just kind of making jokes with each other, like we’d literally be in the same room and just say stupid s— to each other, and it was a dumb f—— thing to do. I’m doing my best to move forward and be the best person I can be, and try to emulate [sic] that to everybody else.”
