In the wake of the beloved actress’ death, we’re hearing she set aside a bit of her reported $100 million estate for her Golden Retriever Reggie! QUITE A BIT!
REVEALED: Diane Keaton’s Cause Of Death
According to Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice Substack, an insider claimed that prior to The Godfather star’s death, she arranged for a whole $5 million to be allotted to her beloved furry friend.
The insider dished:
“Reggie was her world. Diane used to joke her great loves were her children, Al Pacino, architecture — and that dog.”
Awww. He was even featured in Diane’s final Instagram post in April. She clearly loved him SO much!
We’re not crying, you’re crying!
But, uh… what does a pup need with that much money?? According to the report, the fortune is to be used to provide the same sort of care Diane personally offered Reggie for the rest of his life. AND for some generous donations to various animal charities, presumably in Reggie’s name. How noble!
A second source added:
“She wanted Reggie to live with the same dignity and humor she did. It’s the most Diane thing ever — eccentric, kind and deeply loving.”
Diane’s kids Dexter, 29, and Duke, 25, aren’t exactly going hungry, btw! They will reportedly share the remaining $95 million of their mom’s fortune.
