FBI Season 8 just kicked off on Monday night (October 13), and it started with a major shocker.
Following a cliffhanger in the Season 7 finale regarding the fate of Isobel (Alana De La Garza), we finally know what happened.

In the beginning of the episode, we learn that Isobel survived.
The collapse at the end of Season 7 caused her to suffer a brain bleed however, which meant she had to get surgery, so she was out of commission for the episode.
However, there was another major death in the episode: Rhodes.
In the final moments of the episode, Agent Dani Rhodes (Emily Alabi) was shot in the abdomen.
At the hospital, we learn that Isobel survived the surgery and is awake, however Rhodes tragically died from her injuries at the scene.
We knew that Rhodes was only appearing briefly in Season 8, as it was revealed the actress would be leaving the show. She was meant to fill the void left by Special Agent Tiffany Wallace (Katherine Renee Kane).
