The 2026 Australian Firefighters Calendar has made its fiery return!
The popular calendar features firefighters posing — often shirtless — solo or with animals. Proceeds from calendar sales support charitable causes, including animal welfare, children’s hospitals, mental health services for first responders and disaster recovery efforts in Australia and internationally.
This year, there are five calendar editions: the Dog Edition, Cat Edition, Horse Edition, Mixed Animal Edition and the Hero Edition, which features solo portraits of the firefighters without any animals.
Each edition also includes behind-the-scenes content from the calendar shoots showcasing unfiltered moments from the real-life heroes.

Funds generated by the calendar have previously gone to support victims of Hurricanes Helene and Milton, which devastated the U.S. in 2024.
In 2025, the calendar helped animals displaced by the California wildfires, which struck a personal cord for many of the firefighters involved.

“The firefighters from the calendar visit Pasadena every year to take part in CatCon, the USA’s biggest cat carnival,” David Rogers, the director of the calendar company, explained in a press release obtained by PEOPLE.

“To watch areas burning out of control and talk to the friends of the place we know so well was very distressing,” he added.
Rogers said that the company quickly printed and distributed a calendar to specifically help animals in Pasadena displaced by the fires, and all proceeds from sales went directly to the Pasadena Humane Society (PHS).
Kevin McManus, communications director of PHS, expressed the organization’s gratitude to the Australian Firefighters Calendar.

“Knowing how close to home it was for the [Australian firefighters], who are very accustomed to dealing with disasters and wildfires like the ones we faced in January, makes it even more special. Thanks to their donation, we were able to help the animals affected by the Eaton Fire to the best of our ability,” he said in a statement.
The Australian Firefighters Calendar also donated funds to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund in July after flooding decimated parts of Texas. The funds were used for the rebuilding of homes, providing mental health support for residents and restoring the Kerr County community spirit.
Lincoln Decker, one of the firefighters featured in the calendar, said that supporting those affected by the floods held a personal significance.
“My sister lives not too far from the flood affected areas of Kerr County. I have a personal connection to this disaster. It gives me great pride to be able to be part of supporting this community,” he said.
