In a new spot, Kristen Bell teamed up with Citi Bank to promote the Strata Elite Card by talking about her ‘pretend kids’ and her point earning obsession in a very humorous way. The actress has long been known for her timing and the commercial, which is her editorial style, has already started to reapkomowing popularity and smiles from the public.

In the film Kristen Bell personally addresses the audience with a cheerful wink. ‘I know what you are thinking,’ she begins. ‘Here is Kristen Bell with her fictitious children on a grand tour.’ But, in a moment she clarifies the situation, really, she’s not enjoying earning points with her Citi Strata Elite card. Then the actress turns the offer into a feast of strange-looking dishes, and has the six times points as one of the major highlights. While making eye contact with the audience, the actress takes her message to the end of the commercial and announces, ‘I love you more than the countless stars in the sky. And a little more than the points I am accumulating.’
The accompanying text was simple and straightforward, just like the ad theme. ‘I am pretty addicted to points. Is there anyone else? I am! Citi Strata Elite Card all day baby. That’s the way I earn mine!’ she stated, tagging the brand as a collaborator.
The response was quick and beyond all expectations and many pointed out the ‘pretend kids’ joke as the laughter-giving highlights. One person had the hardest time getting over the matter and shared the comment ‘Pretend kids killed me,’ along with a crying-laughing emoji to hammer his point home. Another comment was practically identical to the first one, just saying, ‘“With her pretend kids” killed me,’ confirming that the self-aware humor hit the mark.
Apart from that, a few of the spectators also appreciated the creativity and the artistry of the advertisement. Someone said, ‘This ad is so clever,’ while another one declared, ‘your ads are the best,’ thus confirming that Bell tends to land in the pool of engaging sponsored content. The ad’s cleverness even provoked actor Aaron David Gleason to make a musical proposal of ‘want to sing a song together?’.
For some viewers, the ad was a charming reminder of Bell’s most famous characters. One person who was very attentive even connected it to her role in the sitcom ‘The Good Place,’ saying ‘the spirit of Eleanor Shellstrop.’ The character Eleanor was famous for her point-mania and moral-strand counting in the afterlife which made the partnership with the credit card very suitable and a little-goofy at the same time. This association opened up the floodgates of creative replies, as one guy inquisitively asked,’would these points send me to the good place?’ While another jokingly took it up and asked if the points came with a ticket to the premiere of the next season of yet another Bell project.
Moreover, the video also gave us a taste of her wonderful voice that people love. A viewer wrote, ‘I love her so much, just like Anna,’ referring to her famous role as Princess Anna in Disney’s ‘Frozen.’ Another user raised the initial point to the next level, showing light-hearted bewilderment: ‘Her voice is beautiful and surprisingly so familiar I know I have heard it but can’t place it.’

There were not many comments of this kind but one criticizing the actress’s position regarding contemporary social issues was a serious one and illustrated the diverse expectations that celebrities have to bear. Honestly, the jokes and commendations were surrounding her and at the same time shining a view of the whole audience satisfaction with Kristen’s alluring and amusing method of selling. This campaign is a perfect mix of her down-to-earth personality with a clear marketing message, so it is entertaining and maybe a little more convincing for the audience regarding their potential to earn points. Kristen Bell keeps proving that her utterly different appeal and comic excellence are the real currency, even in advertisements. Dax Shepard, her husband, often collaborates with her on various projects. She also shared some behind-the-scenes moments from awards show preparations.
