Rebecca Ferguson is giving more insight into the viral story about an actor who yelled at her on set.
Back in February 2024, Rebecca opened up about an “absolute idiot” co-star who “screamed” at her during filming.
She divulged this information on the Reign with Josh Smith podcast, where she said, “I remember there was a moment and this human being was being so insecure and angry because this person couldn’t get the scenes out.
“And I think I was so vulnerable and uncomfortable that I got screamed at. But because this person was number one on a call sheet, there was no safety net for me. So no one had my back. And I would cry walking off set,” she recounted.
In a new October 2025 interview with The Times, Rebecca said she hasn’t heard from the actor since the revelation.
“I don’t care,” Rebecca said, adding that “other people who have worked with this person also had a shitty time.”
Rebecca admits that she wasn’t blameless in the situation, saying that “I will shove someone under a bus in front of an entire crew to make a point. I don’t applaud my own behaviour in that. It’s a really tricky world. We put a lot of blame on bullies and when we get older we can understand that people are insecure. When you start standing up for yourself, it’s really tricky. They’ll fire you and give the job to someone else.”
