Monster: The Ed Gein Story just premiered last week and now production has already started on the next season!
Ella Beatty will lead the cast in the upcoming fourth season, marking the first time the series is centering on a woman. She will play Lizzie Borden.

Also starring in the next installment include Charlie Hunnam as Andrew Borden, Vicky Krieps as Bridget Sullivan, Rebecca Hall as Abby Borden, Billie Lourd as Emma Borden and Jessica Barden as Nance O’Neill, according to THR.

Now in production in Los Angeles. Also starring Charlie Hunnam, Vicky Krieps, Rebecca Hall, Billie Lourd and Jessica Barden,” the Ryan Murphy Productions account on Instagram shared on Thursday (October 9).
If you are unfamiliar, Lizzie Borden was “famously tried and acquitted of the 1892 ax murders of her father and stepmother in Fall River, Massachusetts.”
Max Winkler, who helmed six episodes of season three, is set to direct the first episode of season four, with additional casting and more details are set to be released at a later date.
Monster: The Ed Gein Story only just debuted last Friday (October 3) and debuted at No 2 on this week’s Netflix Top 10 Most Watched TV Shows list, which tracked from September 29th to October 5th.
In it’s first two days on the streamer, the season racked up 122 million views. Check out the reviews here!
