Per a press release, One Shot with Ed Sheeran is “a groundbreaking, one-shot music experience.”

“The multi-Grammy Award winner will take viewers on a mesmerizing journey, during one afternoon, in real time, as he travels the streets of New York City, performing his greatest hits, captured in a single take.”

“From impromptu performances on bustling sidewalks and subway cars, to intimate interactions with fans and passersby, Ed Sheeran’s journey through New York will be captured in a series of unforgettable moments, highlighting the pandemonium and excitement that follows.”

Sheeran released his most recent album, Play in September. He’s no stranger to working on creative video projects. In the music video for “Azizam,” a song from Play, the singer-songwriter gets transported to a Persian wedding amid a bout of writers’ block.

After working his way through different parts of the venue and celebrating with the wedding party, he lands back in the music studio ready to write.

“He wanted to make it like other non Persians would experience a wedding for the first time, and how full on, but fun it is,” Sheeran said of director Saman Kesh in an Instagram post when the music video was released in April.

“I found it was so similar in ways to the Irish weddings I grew up going to, but obviously so different in other ways.”

Another music video for Play stars Rupert Grint for the song “A Little Bit More.” Released in August, the Harry Potter alum, 37, continues his recovery from being a super-stalker. However, this time around, his obsession takes a 180-degree turn and becomes an aversion, and Grint can’t shake Sheeran.

“14 years later me and @rupertgrint are reunited,” Sheeran posted on Instagram, referring to their collaboration for the “Lego House” music video in 2011. “A Little Bit More” picks up from where the last video left off.

“I had this wild idea after writing the song, and thankfully rupert was up for it. It’s an utterly bonkers video for a very upbeat, fun, but angry song. Think this one is gonna be a lot of people’s fav song from Play.
