– Author Jennifer L. Armentrout is partnering with Hellmann’s Mayo to promote her newest romantasy book Primal of Blood and Bone (out last week in the US, #6 in the series) with a limited-edition printing of the book with garlic-infused ink.
– Hellmann’s also sent influencers PR packages of the book, along with the mayo, in a coffin-shaped box (those photos are available on People’s website).
– Fans are confused because the vampires in the book are not affected by garlic.
– Yes, everyone is confused about how this tie-in came to exist, including book PR professionals.
