If you perform “Waterfalls,” there’s a good chance TLC will stop by to listen in.

Tish Period, a St. Louis-based singer, was covering the 1995 song at Broadway Oyster Bar when the band, made up of Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas and Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, heard the song while driving and pulled over to check her out.

After performing at Evolution Festival in Forest Park on Sunday, Sept. 28, the now-viral video shows T-Boz, 55, and Chilli, 54, running from their van to the St. Louis music venue. Upon entering, they surprised Period, 45, who was shocked to find the “Waterfalls” singers in front of her.

After embracing TLC, Period thanked T-Boz and Chilli for “bringing some of the best music we’re still singing right now.” “This means the world to me,” she continued, becoming emotional. “Thank you so much for giving us that good music.”

Period then performed a powerful version of “Waterfalls,” which appeared to leave the Grammy-winning singers impressed.

When Period realized that the band she considered her “teenage idols” was right in front of her, “I literally thought I saw a ghost,” she said, per the St. Louis Dispatch.

“What are God’s chances for them to drive past, hear us playing their song, and then they pull over … to surprise us and catch us in the act,” Period added.

After her performance in front of T-Boz and Chilli, Period went outside behind the venue and cried. “I’m at a loss for words,” she said. “I’m just so honored that God allowed me to experience that.”

“Sunday night was just a special night. Never in a million years would I have thought that TLC—my teen-aged icons—would walk in while I was signing their songs,” Period added of the experience, per Fox 2 Now.

“I’m honored. I believe God was going to make sure it happened to me to where I was able to see TLC.”

She also posted about the incredible experience on Instagram. “Shouts out to @officialtlc @tionnewatkins @therealchilli for coming in and surprising us during our set! God makes no mistakes, to have me in the right space at the right time doing exactly what im supposed to be doing! GOD is soo amazing!”
