Why Ryan Murphy Isn’t Moving Forward With Luigi Mangione ‘Monster’ Season (Yet)


Ryan Murphy is opening up about proposed seasons of his hit anthology series, Monster.

Following the first season, The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, and Seasons 2 and 3, The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story and The Ed Gein Story, the showrunner addressed potential new seasons in an interview.

Regarding a potential season following Luigi Mangione, the man accused of shooting UnitedHealthCare CEO Brian Thompson, Ryan said they’re not ready to move forward yet.

“We have a ‘maybe one day’ file,” he told Variety.

The reason is because they decided it’s just too early to proceed with a season.

“We know nothing about him,” he added.
