President Donald Trump is responding to reports that he’s considering pardoning Sean “Diddy” Combs following the rapper’s conviction last month.
Earlier this week, it was reported that Trump, 79, is “seriously considering” pardoning Diddy, 55, as sources claim that the rapper’s associates have been reaching out to Trump‘s team.
In a new interview, Trump was asked about the reports.

Trump also reflected on Diddy‘s “hostile” attitude towards his decision to get involved with politics and said that the incarcerated rapper made “terrible statements” about him running for office.
If you didn’t know, the two were previously friendly in the 2000s as they were in the same New York City social circles, but Diddy became critical of Trump following his first term as president.
“I was very friendly with him, get along with him great, seemed like a nice guy, didn’t know him well,” Trump said. “But when I ran for office he was very hostile. But it was hard, we’re human beings and we don’t like to have things cloud our judgement, right? But when you knew someone and you were fine and then you run for office and he made some terrible statements… so I don’t know, it makes it more difficult to do.”
When questioned whether it was “more likely a no for Combs?” in terms of a presidential pardon, Trump responded, “I’d say so.”
If you missed it, one Trump supporter that got a pardon is now speaking out against him.
