Remember me? Iconic 2000s pop powerhouse touches down at Sydney Airport looking fresh-faced and fabulous at 57

US pop star Anastacia has arrived Down Under for the first time in a decade as part of her world tour celebrating 25 years of her hit debut album, Not That Kind.

The pop powerhouse, 57, was spotted at Sydney Airport on Thursday looking remarkably youthful in a denim jacket, matching jeans and a purple skivvy.

Anastacia put on a stylish display, wearing her trademark coloured-lens glasses, layered necklaces, a statement leather belt and matching buckle-up boots.

Showing no sign of exhaustion following a long flight, the superstar beamed and waved at onlookers as she made her way through the arrivals terminal.

Anastacia was also joined by an entourage, but proved she’s not too famous to do her own heavy lifting as she carted her luggage and Louis Vuitton handbag by herself.

The ageless star will perform shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane this month, proving she’s still every bit the chart-topping diva fans remember.

Her first Australian show will be at Melbourne’s Forum on September 24.

The I’m Outta Love songstress will then head to Sydney for two shows – the first at Rooty Hill’s Coliseum on September 26, followed by a gig at the Enmore Theatre on September 27.

Anastacia will play her final show of the Australian leg of her tour at Eaton’s Hill Hotel in Brisbane on September 29.

‘l am so excited to be coming to Australia! This is such a fun tour, celebrating 25 years and l can’t wait to share the show over there with you guys,’ the pop diva said in a statement.

‘It’s a night of true nostalgia. Get ready to sing! Bring on the NTK25 Australia party.’

Anastacia last toured Australia in 2015 as part of her Resurrection Tour.

Not That Kind was a smash hit in Australia when it was released in 2000, reaching the number 2 spot on the ARIA album chart.

It was also a hit on the ARIA Dance Album chart, reaching number one.

Not That Kind also launched several hit singles, including the title track, as well as I’m Outta Love, Cowboys and Kisses and Made For Lovin’ You.

After becoming a household name, Anastacia took a lower profile in recent years.

It later emerged that the star was battling a series of health issues, making it nearly impossible for her to maintain a global career over the years.

The pop star courageously fought Crohn’s disease, a heart condition and two bouts of breast cancer.

The Sick And Tired songstress was diagnosed at 13 with Crohn’s disease –  an inflammatory bowel disease that can cause severe chronic symptoms that never go away.

She was also diagnosed with breast cancer in 2003, and not long after was also diagnosed with supraventricular tachycardia – a heart condition which causes varied and rapid heartbeats.

After being diagnosed with breast cancer for a second time in 2013, Anastacia decided to undergo an immediate double mastectomy.

Much loved Down Under, Anastacia made headlines in 2021 when she was crowned winner of The Masked Singer Australia.

In 2023, Anastacia released her eighth studio album Our Song, which soared to the top of the charts in Germany and the UK.
