Nancy Meyers is speaking out about news today that her movie The Holiday is being adapted to a limited series.
The 75-year-old filmmaker wrote, directed and produced the 2006 rom-com, which starred Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jude Law and Jack Black.
After news of the Apple TV+ developing a new TV adaptation of the beloved movie was revealed, Nancy took to social media to react.

The upcoming series will reportedly follow a similar storyline as the movie, and will be written and executive produced by Krissie Ducker, along with Rob Delaney also writing.
Nancy is also behind such beloved movies as Private Benjamin (writer), Father of the Bride (writer), The Parent Trap (1998) (writer/director), What Women Want (director), Something’s Gotta Give (writer/director) and more.
A few years ago, Nancy was supposed to direct a new rom-com for Netflix, but it was axed.
