According to legal documents filed by Mike’s husband, Scotty Dynamo, the actor suffered a cardiac arrest in June 2024 while dining at the restaurant Javier’s located in the ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, reports the Las Vegas Review Journal.

Additionally, the documents allege that restaurant staff neglected to perform CPR despite Mike exhibiting “obvious signs of a medical emergency,” and even “forcefully interfered” when someone else attempted to help. It also claims that employees “demanded” any videos of the incident be deleted.

The suit is seeking damages in excess of $30,000, punitive damages, and funeral expenses, since it alleges that Mike‘s death was “a direct and proximate result of defendants’ acts and omissions,” via The Daily Mail.

Scotty took to social media after Mike’s death, revealing that his husband, who was 35 at the time of his death, was “young, in perfect health, and the doctors have no explanation for what happened.”

Mike‘s last film was Lifetime’s The Holiday Proposal Plan and he was also known for appearing in the Paramount+ series Special Ops: Lioness.
