Chrishell Stause traded in her signature long locks and is kicking off fall with a fresh look.
The Selling Sunset star, 44, went for a major chop courtesy of celebrity stylist Chris Appleton, crediting the hair guru and Shark Beauty for her dramatic transformation.
“Entering bob season with @sharkbeauty and @chrisappleton1!” she captioned her video via Instagram on Tuesday, September 16. “Glam is the only tool you need no matter how many hair changes you go through. 😉 Dry, curl, air straighten and gloss 🙌 What do you think??😅.”
In the beginning of the clip, Appleton held his thumbs up to where he was going to cut, opting for more than six inches. “I actually love your hair short,” he said. “I think it would be good to go for the chop.”

The A-list beauty wiz gave Stause the honor of doing the “first snip.”
After she cut the ends swiftly off, Appleton stated, “There is no going back.” He went on to finish the chop and style her mane with the new Shark Silky, which allows for wet-to-dry straightening without heat damage, giving her a sleek and polished finish.
Stause then asked Appleton to do a big, bouncy blowout, so he switched to the Shark Glossi, which has a ceramic and air-powered round brush featuring a teardrop shape, giving extra volume at the roots plus end-to-end smoothing.
The final result was a voluminous “bombshell” look, much to her delight.
“You look so hot!” Appleton told her, to which she gleefully replied, “I love this hair.”
Several fans agreed and sounded off about her fresh fall chop. “That is such a flattering hair length on you. Love how it turned out!” one wrote. “OMG! This suits you sooo much! Stunning,” another agreed, while a third commented, “No I love this look on you. Like my fav ever.”
The reality star stepped into her new season in style just months after exchanging vows with G Flip in a third wedding ceremony on July 26 at a castle tower in Los Angeles.
Stause and G Flip, 31, first tied the knot during a Las Vegas ceremony and renewed their vows in Australia in 2024.
