Mariah Carey has dethroned Taylor Swift on the Billboard Hot 100 this week with “All I Want For Christmas Is You.” Team Swift was aiming to break a record for Swift’s longest running No. 1, surpassing “Anti-Hero” with 9 weeks but will have to settle with 8 weeks and tying.
“All I Want for Christmas” now ties “Old Town Road” by Lil Nas X and “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” by Shaboozey as the longest-running No. 1 hits in Billboard Hot 100 history, all spending 19 weeks at No. 1.
