Paramount exec runs to daddy Donald in fear of WBD choosing Netflix as a buyer

-David Ellison, head of Paramount has been throwing a hissy fit over WBD not bending over backwards over their offer.

-Not only has he written an open letter to Zaslav stating “It has become increasingly clear, through media reporting and otherwise, that WBD appears to have abandoned the semblance and reality of a fair transaction process, thereby abdicating its duties to stockholders, and embarked on a myopic process with a predetermined outcome that favors a single bidder. We specifically request and expect this letter will be shared and discussed with the full board of directors of WBD,” the David Ellison company wrote in a letter to WBD CEO David Zaslav.

-He has now allegedly run back to Trump to get him to intervene should WBD choose Netflix as their new owner. They underscored in conversations with Trump officials and lawmakers in Congress why Netflix’s proposed deal to acquire its Warner Bros. studio and HBO Max streaming service should be throttled on antitrust grounds
