Kids Can Press, the press that publishes the Franklin the Turtle series, issued a statement condemining unauthorized use of Franklin's image to promote violence.
This is in reference to alledged rapist, drunk, and racist Pete Hegseth, Secretary of War, posting an altered image of Franklin the turtle firing rockets at a boat, apparently in reference to Hegseth's own alledged war crime of ordering strikes on boats along Venezuela.
In return the Pentago issued the following statement:
We doubt Franklin the turtle wants to be inclusive of drug cartels … or laud the kindness and empathy of narco-terrorists.
