This weekend is chock-full of new releases, so you’ll have your pick of what to see if you choose to head to a movie theater. Paramount is dropping a new version of The Running Man, while the third Now You See Me movie from Lionsgate also makes its debut. There are several international film Oscar submissions premiering in limited theaters, including Sirât and Left-Handed Girl, the latest from Osgood Perkins, a potential animation nominee, and many more.
The films listed are from studios other than the “Big Five” – Universal Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros., Walt Disney Pictures, and Columbia Pictures. Note that some of the movies listed are in their first week or two of limited release in the USA, so it may take them a few more weeks (or months) to show up in your local arthouse theater or on VOD. Check out the posts from the past few weeks for more movies that may have just opened near you: November 7th, October 31st, and October 24th.
