In a follow-up to this post, Variety has confirmed Anna Sawai and Aimee Lou Wood are in talks to play Yoko Ono and Pattie Boyd in Sam Mendes’ upcoming quartet of Beatles movies. According to Variety, neither actress has a deal signed yet.
News broke earlier this week that Saoirse Ronan was cast as Linda McCartney, with the trades reporting the next day that Mia McKenna-Bruce will play Maureen Starkey.
