– The “complicated factors” are the fact that the rights have reverted back to the author after the death of “Hannibal” producer Martha De Laurentiis in 2021. They can’t make a season 4 unless the rights issue gets figured out, which Fuller estimates will be a few years.
– Fuller also wants to make a “Silence of the Lambs” miniseries starring Zendaya and Mads Mikkelsen, which was initially what he wanted to do for “Hannibal” season 5 (minus Zendaya at the time).
