The History of Sound co-stars Paul Mescal and Josh O’Connor sit down for a game of Lie vs. Lie — and things get hilariously personal. With nothing but prompts and quick wit, the pair swap outrageous, suspicious stories, questionable audition tales, and awkward fan encounters — leaving each other to decide what’s fact and what’s completely made up.
Did Cher really tell Paul to “dance like nobody is watching”? Was Josh really “too ripped” to get cast in Paul’s role in Gladiator II? The stories only get better, with travel nightmares and awards show embarrassments added to the mix. Through all the lies (and a few truths), the two keep score — teasing and second-guessing each other’s tales until the very end.
